If you want Blood you got it!

So it seems that it is 111 degrees outside here in sunny Surprise Arizona.  I arrived around 9:30 this morning which of course by that time it was already 100.  My poor little son roasting in the back seat as the sun came straight in on his side of the back seat for the last 20 mins of the drive.  Its nice being out of the house while Levi is in Ohio for the next two weeks.  Spending time with my sister is going to be questionable and gutsy.  It could end up with us giving each other hugs good by in 5 days or it can result in a blood bath and one of us dead on the floor.  Only time will tell I guess, but so far so good I believe.  So Im sitting here sippin on a Mojito enjoying the sound of the thunder waiting for the rain to fall.

iPad-nounce you Husband and Wife

So since the creation of the computer the biggest and latest talk has been the iPad.  At Aaron and Katie Ybarra's wedding the iPad was a hit!   When my cousin Aaron said "I do" at his non traditional wedding no one didn't even noticed that there was something other then a Bible held in the preachers hands AKA my father lol.  Forgetting to print out when he was going to say for the ceremony, Aaron and Katie, already doing everything but going by the book told him to just use his iPad.  One more non traditional thing in the wedding was not going to ruin it but even better add to the wonderful day!

To start the wedding off Aaron and his grooms men walked out to the Gazebo to the Indiana Jones theme song holding his head high with pride! Then the beautiful bridesmaids came towards the gazebo to Debussy's Clair De Lune followed by Katie's younger brother prancing to the Sugar Plum Fairies from the Nutcracker as her flower boy.  Then to top it off as if couldn't get any more different, Katie came strolling down with her father at her side wearing her self-hand made green wedding dress and tri-corn hat with a beautiful parasol to the score from Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
the whole wedding party
This wedding was a total hit.  We laughed, we cried, everyone had a smile on their face even through the tears of joy!  This has been one of the best weddings I have ever been to!

Why you dont ask for opinions

So asking for opinions from friends, family members, and even strangers are apart of our daily life as humans.  Lately I've been asking for a lot of opinions about a specific topic.  My husband has finally agreed to buy me my wedding ring, it has only taken two years but yay I will finally have one.  So after searching around and doing some window shopping we have decided on the two we like the most.  The funny part though is his first pick is my second and my first pick is his second.  So to help my side out that way when I tell him the one I really want he wont argue with me I've been asking around to see which others like best. It was going perfect according to plan all until I asked my mother in-law...the one opinion that he would hold highest and the one I was counting on to side with me.  So after past opinions given that failed on my side from her I still decided to ask one more time for it once again.  Here is her answer...
"Ok, I have always been a fan of the the princess cut especially since i saw the one hilary got from her grandmother. looking at both rings, as a mom, i think the first one will be less likely to get caught on things like baby blankets, etc. The raised stones were always such a pain for me that when juli was a baby i did not even wear mine and just wore a plain gold band. both are beautiful, but i liked the floating titanium, but the possibility of the second one getting caught on things (scratching the baby, and even making the bed was a pain) is what i made my judgement on. Good luck. Enjoy, how exciting!"
Really this is the answer you are going to give me?  I didn't ask for logic I asked just a simple which one do you like best which it only required another simple reply of "I like this one better then the other" Not "this one wouldn't get caught on things cause its so plain and boring."  So I kindly replied to her in hope that I would get the simple answer I was searching for.  I said "ok well even though those thoughts were insightful i was looking more on which one you thought was prettier and you would pick if there were not all these possibilities of it catching on blankets and what not" It was nice enough and clarified the question of what I was looking for in return.
Well she replied this "i think both are very pretty tho. there was nothing about the looks that i didn't like on either one. the first one is more conventional (i like the simple streamline) and the second one is more sophisticated looking and dressy"
ARE YOU FREAKIN SERIOUS????? What kind of answer is that? Could you be anymore vague?  So I gave up.  I have now decide that for now on I will only ask my sister-in-law for her opinion because asking my mother-in-law has become a retarded thing to do!

Shew Fly Don't Bother Me!

I honestly believe the phrase so go "Shew fly don't bother me, or I'm going to kill you!"  For the past hour there has been this house fly in my room bothering the heck out of me.  It kinda reminds me of an annoying acquaintance or an stalker ex-boyfriend.  I honestly do not know why it insists on staying in my room.  I have my door wide open and do not have any lights on but I guess it feels the urge to keep me company.  Just one more thing now in my present life I am just going to have to deal with.  Why have I not killed it you might ask?  Well my darling 6 month old son fell asleep in his bed all on his own and I do not want to wake him up with me jumping around the room tying to kill a petty fly.  So for the mean time I am going to put my hair up in a pony tail, and that's right use it just like the name it was give and swish the fly away every time it gets too close to my face.

Ok so Men Suck!

This phrase has been rattling in my head for weeks upon weeks now... It has only been recently though that i have truly believed it!  Some times I really wonder what honestly goes through their heads when they speak and in their actions.  The past couple of days I have been having doubts and struggles with men...well with a certain man.  His daily routine is getting to me!  It is tough because thoughts of him not really caring or wanting to really be with me seep into my head.  He says that he loves me but with the lack of attention and affection it really makes you wonder.  I tend to think he loves other things more then me.  Then things like an ex from the past has to return into view...being such a great friend doesn't help the situation.  Then like a man he has to start spouting off about the past of regrets and feelings that never left blah blah blah...they always seem like empty words but like a girl that I am, I love hearing every bit of it since it makes me feel so special and once again loved!  This caused nothing but emotional confusion.  But on a good note every time man number one walks through the door after work my love and emotion is devoted to him even if he doesn't acknowledge me or whatever.

Busy week finally Over!!!

Well its been one crazy week but its finally over!  My birthday went great after some few minor bumps on Thursday.  I went mini golfing and to BJ's Pizza with my Hubby, son, parents, sister, and a few friends along with my husbands uncle who was out here for work came to see us.  We had a great time! Yesterday I had my well deserved hair appointment in the morning and then headed off to my friend Jen's for some fun time.  Then of course today was a big day! I had my tattoo appointment bright and early this morning to get my tattoo redone and fixed.  No longer do I have a blob on my lower back!! Then without wasting any time I had to get ready then head back out the door for my cousin Aaron's wedding to an amazing chick named Katie.  I'm so happy for them they are truly perfect for each other.  The wedding was amazing, different, comical, and fun!  Never been to one like this before so it totally wins the best wedding of the year award! Tomorrow is the last busy day for me then I'm gonna take a little R&R.  I'm going to meet up with my sister and cut her friends hair then we are off to a co-ed baby shower.  So much has been happening but Ive been enjoying every bit of it! Now if I can just get some sleep.
